The 24th annual Hot Air Balloon Festival, presented by the Plainville Fire Company, is Friday, Aug. 22 to Sunday, Aug. 24. It is considered to be one of the biggest and last remaining balloon festivals in the Northeast. Some critics say that has reached its prime and should be discontinued.
