Do you think crime will rise in Plainville because of the econom

I believe that it will, I was just informed that a friend of ours had their vehicle stolen out of their driveway. The criminal used their debit and credit cards that happened to be in the vehicle at several different gas stations to fill up different cars or possibly gas containers. Also used it at a grocery store to by cigarettes and at a Walmart to by other needs. This is not a lavish spending spree, this was for basic everyday things. I believe people are getting desperate because the money they had that use to cover these things is not enough anymore.

crime and the economy

I think that crime has and will continue to climb not only in Plainville but in the whole country due to the poor economy which I feel has been driven by the high cost of oil.
One of the signs concerning the poor economic conditions can be observed in the center of town where at least one panhandler is taking advantage of the nice new benches to take a rest while asking people for cigarettes or money. It would be nice if this is all we will see but with the cold weather coming there could be some pretty desperate people out there.
