The Plainville High School boys soccer team fell in the semifinals of the CIAC Class M state tournament Friday night in Middletown. The seventh seed Blue Devils were edged by No. 3 Suffield, 2-0.
Plainville defeated Windham Tech, 4-3 in overtime, Wednesday to earn a spot in the Final Four.

As of 10:15 a.m. Monday, Connecticut Light & Power reports that 97 - of the 9,277 customers - or 1 percent are without power in Plainville.
At 10:32 a.m., Town Manager Robert E. Lee updated The Citizen about the status of emergency services in Plainville.
Plainville High School has full power and remains open as an emergency shelter. It does have showers available for use and owners can bring their pets if they are in crates.
