State Rep. Elizabeth “Betty” Boukus announced today, April 21, that $100,000 in state funding for the Town of Plainville is expected to be approved by the State Bond Commission on April 29.

Skaterboarders and bikers have been flocking to the new skate park in Plainville since it opened up several weeks ago. On Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to noon, it will officially open.
