Skaterboarders and bikers have been flocking to the new skate park in Plainville since it opened up several weeks ago. On Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to noon, it will officially open. Kohl's is having a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the remodeling of the Plainville and Branford stores. The Plainville event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 12, 7:45 a.m., at the 200 New Britain Ave. location. These stores are among the more than 50 Kohl's locations undergoing renovations this year.
