Rotary Club members offer the few remaining boxes of oranges and grapefruit at the annual Citrus Sale held Saturday on the front lawn of Plainville High School. Two witches look they may be preparing to "cast a spell" on others at the Oct. 30 annual Halloween party and parade. The event is presented by the Plainville Recreation Department and the Plainville Public Library with refreshments provided by the Rotary Club. Hundreds of children and adults came to see the magic show by Bryan Flint and to march in the downtown parade, which was led by the Plainville High School band.

Rotary Club members get the April 4 Penny Sale under way at Plainville High School. Thousands of dollars raised will help support community projects and scholarships. More than 300 prizes were given.
