The Plainville Police Department conducted a sobriety checkpoint on June 28, from 8 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., as part of the State of Connecticut Expanded DUI Enforcement Program. The following is a listing of enforcement action taken by the Plainville Police.

The Plainville Police Department is joining law enforcement agencies across the country in renewing a pledge to save lives by intensifying efforts to enforce seat belt laws, according to Plainville Police Sgt. Charles Smedick.
