We sent this picture to our parents today - Sunday, Dec. 26 - after I did the driveway for the first time this afternoon after the storm started and before it got too bad. Both sets of parents just moved to Florida earlier this year. Mine from Watertown and my girlfriend's from Spring Lake here in town. They called to see how the first storm of the year was going so we needed to send them something cute. Thought the readers might find it amusing as well.... Russ Gorman & Cheryl Sisko

One of the oldest trees in Plainville, located in Norton Park, is laden with snow following Friday's snowstorm. The starkness of the sky and snow makes it seem as if the world is black and white.
