Students at Frank T. Wheeler Elementary School recently enjoyed the annual book bash, this year entitled “Doggone It! I love to Read.” The event was coordinated by Wheeler librarian Joyce Goldberg with assistance from Wheeler music teacher Diane Roncaioli and fifth-grade teacher Emily Kyle. Students brought their favorite books to read, as well as pillows, sleeping bags, blankets, slippers and stuffed animals. Activities included silent reading, and dog-themed crafts, songs and snacks.
