Adult and continuing ed gears up for new semester

Plainville Adult and Continuing Education will offer programming, free of cost, this fall in the following areas: Adult basic education (math and reading/writing), adult high school credit diploma program, citizenship preparation, English as a second language, GED preparation, and Plainville Association of Retarded Citizens adult basic education.

Plainville Adult and Continuing Education's fall enrichment course offerings are held evenings and moderately priced. Pre-registration is required for all classes. Classes offered include: astronomy; baby first massage; basic auto repair; beginning guitar; beginning sign language; bonsai trees; brush painting techniques; building your child's self esteem; on your own bus trip to New York City, SoHo/Times Square Saturday, Oct. 4; canoeing for beginners; Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Attitude; Chinese language; Chinese paper cutting; college financial aid; computer class MS Acces; computer class MS Excel; drawing with George Nowak; drivers education; estate planning for children and adults with special needs; fall hiking in Connecticut; floral design: boxwood planters; golf for women; golf instruction: mixed adults; how to plan a meaningful funeral; journalism; kayaking for beginners; know the SAT; law related workshops: Eminent domain, wiretapping, right to die, death penalty; mother and daughter or friends makeovers; learn to see auras; letting go of stress; Lia Sofia jewelry: how to start your own business; losing weight with hypnosis; management 101; meditation; meeting your angels and guides; meeting your spirit guide; oil painting beginner and intermediate; painting with fluid acrylics; past life regression; pharmacy technician training program; Qigong; Reiki level 1; Should I Give My Home To My Children?
