Dog needs new home
A Plainville dog lover, who has been caring for a stray since December, is looking for a loving home for the golden retriever/German shepherd mix. Diane Milo found the dog wandering the streets of Hartford and brought him home. "He is a wonderful, loving boy," she said.
The dog, who she has named George, knows some basic commands such as sit, stay and down, and she is working on teaching him some others. Milo estimates that the dog is less than one year old. She has taken him to a veterinarian for his shots and he is neutered.
Now she hopes to find him a good home, preferably with older children and no other pets. "He's looking for love and affection, and will fill your home with love and joy," Milo said.
Interested adopters must have a veterinarian reference and will have a home visit to see if they would be a good fit with the dog. An adoption fee applies. For more information, call Donna Duda at (860) 335-3123 or Diane Milo, (860) 681-6996, to set up a home visit with George.

Cute Dog
Wish he was good with other animals. I have a Golden mix and he is the best dog I have ever owned.
